Hello! Have you ever heard of 3Sun Gigafactory?

It is an Enel strategic project and an European flagship initiative aiming at reshoring PV industry in Europe to support and accelerate the decarbonization of the energy sector to rich the ambitious targets fixed by the EU through Repower EU program. The project is based on innovation and technological excellence and consists in the scale-up of the existing 200MW photovoltaic cells and modules manufacturing site based on the innovative HJT technology and located in Catania, Italy, to 3GW size while implementing a challenging technology development roadmap targeting 30% cell efficiency by 2025. The factory will be one of the largest photovoltaic production plants in Europe.

Do you want to be part of the 3Sun Gigafactory and help us to lead the energy transition in Europe? We are looking for a Shift Production Manager who will lead the management of production in shift and will coordinate the supervisors of the different production areas.

The Shift Production Manager will report to Head of Production. He/she will work in shift.

What will you do:

• Coordinate technical and Safety, Environment and Quality aspects in shift of the production line and in respective area managers
• Supervise the assigned resources, organizing the shift and tasks; analyze and manage staff on shift (attendance, limitations, absenteeism,)
• Analyze the data related to the different production departments related to your shift to evaluate the trends by comparing them with the assigned targets (KPI)
• Stimulate employee motivation with continuous improvement activities
• Improve and simplify manual production activities
• Manage human error analysis activities
• Prepare reworking plans
• Collaborate with the various business areas (quality, engineering, maintenance ...) to achieve the agreed objectives
• Apply and control all quality control techniques in order to guarantee the required production yield
• Manage training and certification of personnel in the production line

Who you are:

• Master’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical\Management)
• At least 3 years' experience in continuous cycle manufacturing sectors with experience in resource management and production processes
• Excellent knowledge of safety standards and related documentation (DVR, work permits, safety plans,)
• Excellent knowledge of MES platform for management of the production process
• Knowledge of Ergonomics and NVAA topics
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and Word, Excel applications
• Use of software and tools for diagnosis
• Knowledge of English language
