In our unit you will have the opportunity to collaborate and interface with administrations, ministries and grid operator and many other main stakeholders.
Join the Authorization and Grid Connection Management team to support us in enabling the energy transition towards a zero-carbon power sector.
What you will do:
- Ensure the monitoring and effective management of the permits obtained and TSO/DSO authorizations and third-party agreements signed for the projects, as well as to ensure the obtainment of the new permits and TSO/DSO authorizations needed for the construction, energization, commercial operation and any missing permits and third party agreements
- Responsible for managing, in execution phase, all the activities and relationships with Authorities, internal and external stakeholders, with the aim of ensuring an effective management of permitting project’s activities. Responsible to monitor all permits. Responsible for managing and monitoring external requirements set out in the issued permits and agreements.
- Cross-functional support and cooperation between Business Development (i.e due diligence, etc.) and Engineering & Construction Units relative to permits and grid connection agreements, applying project management best practices.
- To ensure a detailed and complete knowledge of the local legislation and regulations in terms of grid connection and permitting, in order to produce guidelines and tools for planning, organizing, executing and controlling the related project permitting activities and milestones.
- To manage the grid connection agreement/permits during the execution phase of the power plants, also participating at meetings with Authorities (if required)
- To support the Project Teams performing risk analysis and defining preventive/corrective actions to be taken with reference to permits and grid connection, in order to keep the projects on schedule;
- To issue periodical reports/slides in order to monitor and control the activities related to grid connection status of different projects;
- To perform periodical meeting to monitor requirements and share requirements traceability matrix with support team or project team (highlighting the most critical activities).
- Follow-up of Grid Connection process (Responsible of all the exchanges of communication with DSO/TSO)
- To share best practices and lessons learned about grid connection and permitting of Power Plants within the Company, locally and worldwide.
- To travel locally
Who you are:
Master’s degree in Environmental, Energetic, Industrial Engineering or equivalent with:
Knowledge of the process for the permitting and grid connection of renewable power plants in Italy
Desirable, at least 2 years of experience in management of permits and grid connection process for renewable power plants
