Enel Green Power Hellas is seeking for a Junior Renewables Control & Monitoring Room Shift Engineer.

Control and Monitoring Room is seeking for a young candidate to join our remote operations Center in Athens which is managing 61 plants with more than 500MW of installed capacity in Greece and Germany. The position gives the opportunity to work with 3 renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, hydro) and become technically expert in understanding their operating principles as well as on how to perform effective remote monitoring and control.

What you will do:
- Remote monitoring and control of power plants
- Real-time and historical data analysis to identify and diagnose malfunctions
- Coordination of onsite operations with grid operator and maintenance teams
- Support energy management department
- Utilize weather forecasting for the optimization of onsite operations
- The department is operating in 24/7 shifts
- Shift plan requires on average 5-6 night shifts/month and provides free weekends on frequent basis
- The work schedule is hybrid offering a flexible environment where team members can alternate time between remote and on-premise work
- All night and weekend shifts are performed remotely
- Development/updating of operational procedures
- Use onsite and central SCADA/data acquisition systems
- Analysis of historical data for the detection of operational anomalies
- Routine and on-demand report preparation and dispatching
- Development of predictive maintenance algorithms
- Support the testing and commissioning of the remote capabilities of new plants/ automation systems
Who you are:
- Diploma of Electrical studies (Technological/Engineering) or Mechanical Engineering (5 years)
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Highly adaptable, flexible and self-motivated
- Excellent use of English language
- Excellent command of MS Office suite
- Analytical abilities to collect, evaluate numerical data and complete reporting
- Driving license
- Completed National Service obligations for male candidates
