The Role

Your primary mission as an Application Support Associate will be to work with internal users of our applications and our engineering teams to reproduce, analyse and escalate software issues.

This is a highly visible role where you will become an expert in how our software solutions support our business, and will work closely with the product development, operations, data quality, engineering and customer support teams. Strong communication and analytical skills, as well as a commitment to superior customer service will allow you to succeed as you provide support to your colleagues at Enel X and external customers.

What you’ll do
  • Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal users, offering assistance and guidance on application related queries, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Issues Troubleshooting: Investigate and analyse issues reported by end-users, providing timely and effective advice to improve the applications user experience, minimise business impact and ensure smooth business operations. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application functional and support processes, known issues, and resolutions to facilitate efficient problem-solving and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product owners and developers, to assess and assist to resolve complex application issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Incident Management: Utilize incident management tools to track, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and minimizing the impact on business operations.

What you’ll bring

  • BA/BS in engineering, energy management,
  • environmental science, data analytics or related field.
  • A passion for the energy industry and advanced 
  • energy technologies (DR, solar, storage, EVs, etc.).
  • 1+ years of experience in energy, data analytics, 
  • engineering, or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the desire to learn the
  • technical components of a highly complex platform
  • and tools for the global management of various energy
  • markets.
  • Some understanding of Applications Programming
  • Interface, DB database languages and software
  • monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in using technical platforms and IT
  • systems (MS Office, Internet, etc.)
  • Good time management skills and ability to balance
  • conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to both collaboratively and
  • independently complete projects.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work in a fast paced,
  • forward moving environment.
  • Service oriented attitude
