Job Position and Business line: AFC- Administration

Type of Contract: Full Time

Place of employment: Gurgaon, India

The Role: The individual will be contributing towards the company’s financial performance helping Senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.

Who you’ll work with: The individual will join us in the AFC- Administration team who will be responsible for monthly balance sheet and profit and loss analysis.

What you will do:

  • Monthly BS and PL analysis – correct position in the account, business and entity.
  • Regular accounting, review sub-system posting positions, month end close, inter-co clearing, suspense clearing.
  • Completeness and accuracy of ledger data for Reporting / Tax / Analytical requirements.
  • Preparation of standalone and consolidated financials as per Ind-AS.
  • Develop internal policies to be in compliant with IFRS – accounting standard (For ex. revenue recognition, depreciation).
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Internal – The current team & External – Auditors, bankers).
  • Implementation and working on ERP – develop chart of accounts, testing of the system etc.
  • Manage account payables & receivables.
  • Monitor aged debtors & follow up in necessary.
  • Bookkeeping of daily transactions, balance sheet & general ledger reconciliations.
  • Develop month-end closing process and ensure compliance.
  • Bank reconciliation, monitor bank accounts.
  • Develop an approval matrix of operating spend, capital spend & project spend and necessary procedure.
  • Manage end to end completion of year end external Audit.

What you’ll Bring:

  • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
  • Knowlege of finance & accounting
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite and SAP
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with numerous departments in a matrix, global structure
  • Ability to work in a group and autonomously
  • Self-motivated, flexible and demonstrates initiative
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in time constrained situations and follow tight deadlines
  • Availability to travel locally and internationally when required
