About the role


Enel X Flexibility Global Operations is a skilled and motivated Global Process Automation Engineer to join our team and support the development and deployment of automation solutions across our global operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation technologies, a keen analytical mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Design and Development:

    • Analyze and document business processes to identify automation opportunities.
    • Design and develop automation solutions using industry-leading tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar.
    • Create detailed documentation of automated processes, including process maps, solution designs, and technical specifications.

Implementation and Maintenance:

    • Deploy RPA solutions in accordance with best practices and organizational standards.
    • Monitor and maintain deployed automations to ensure they function as intended.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Collaboration and Communication

    • Work closely with business analysts, process owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of automation solutions.
    • Provide training and support to end-users and team members on automation technologies and best practices.
    • Communicate effectively with global teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative automation solutions.
    • Conduct regular reviews of existing automations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in process automation development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Above and Beyond

  • Certification in one or more RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional, Blue Prism Developer Certification).
  • Experience working in a global or multi-national organization.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence integration with automation.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
