The Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Project is responsible for simultaneously handling and executing numerous security-related projects which are varied and complex in nature, assisting in the whole lifecycle for Cybersecurity projects, such as design, implementation and management.
The position requires a seniority level to manage and guide complex projects from inception through delivery and support, working in close partnership with Global counterpart, local IT stakeholders and both local and business leaders, including project, program, and executive sponsors, as well as other leaders within the business.
This role leads, coordinates, communicates, integrates, and is accountable for the overall success of the program, ensuring alignment with agency or enterprise priorities. It is also in charge of defining objectives, creating plans to achieve objectives, tracking progress against objectives and budgets, cover management of key cyber requirements for new projects or feasibility studies. This individual provides overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project oriented work efforts.
The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Project reviews and approves all architectural changes to systems for cyber validations. This includes but not limited to cloud-based applications, data integration projects, on premise systems including servers, mobility devices, Wi-Fi and IoT systems, local applications, critical industrial control systems (ICS) applications and infrastructure.
The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Project establishes new and improves existing project management processes and methodologies for the Cybersecurity organization to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adheres to Global strategy, high quality standards, and meet stakeholder expectations.
The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Project is effectively the responsible for mentoring and guiding the junior level Cyber staff (analysts, architectures and engineers). This individual also serves the essential role of being the CSIRT referent for NERC-CIP (regulates systems) and support the CERT team in case of incident within the non-regulated.
Much of this interaction is with global local stakeholders (both business and ICT) and with providers in other locations and other time zones, so excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are key. This role facilitates the use of digital solutions within the local cultural and organizational context whilst being aligned with the company strategies while cultivating strategic relationships with stakeholders.
The Senior Manager, Cyber Security Project must be innovative, highly motivated with the ability to learn quickly and must have validated analytical and problem-solving skills. 

What You'll Do at Enel North America:
  • Managing teams and effectively delegating responsibilities to team members;
  • Developing and executing action plans for completing projects related to the enterprise’s InfoSec priorities;
  • Managing numerous complex projects with various priorities and stakeholders;
  • Overseeing data analysis of incident and threat response; developing and implementing plans to improve procedures;
  • Managing complex budgets, including planning and forecasting;
  • Approve and validate any proposed architectural or system changes to ensure the cyber posture is not compromised;
  • Act as a CSIRT for incident management process within regulated infrastructure (NERC CIP);
  • Continuous monitoring to ensure the alignment between the cybersecurity posture and the regulatory requirements (such as NERC CIP, ERCOT, ISO). In addition, participate and lead technical duties during cyber incidents related to industrial facilities;
  • Develop and/or implement off the shelf cybersecurity tools to enhance the defense posture of EGPNA;
  • Architect cybersecurity security into new and existing designs;
  • Gather and analyze forensic data and involve external expertise as required;
  • Communicate and train cybersecurity policies and procedures to stakeholders;
  • Develop, implement and maintain procedures, and associated training plans for network and system security;
  • Propose and take part in the deployment of new technologies, including innovation projects to ensure cyber posture exists;
  • Ensure that all acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing efforts address information security requirements consistent with organization goals and the business needs;
  • Provide enterprise cybersecurity and supply chain risk management guidance for development of the Continuity of Operations Plans;
  • Serve as a cyber intelligence liaison to effectively communicate policies, regulations and risks to the EGPNA stakeholders;
  • Serve as the primary technical forensic analyst for any ongoing or post-incident activity, with authority to delegate duties to other Cyber team members

Who You Are:
  • Excellent spoken and written English; verbal Italian or Spanish
  • Cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CEH, or ethical hacking
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco/Fortinet routing and switching, firewalls, VPN appliances, IPSEC and telephony systems. A minimum of 10 years of CCNP or NSE
  • Extensive experience with Linux and Windows administration
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills and extensive experience in analyzing system logs, network and communication problems in a complex and at times regulated environments
  • Strong experience in the networking and cyber security by design principles to be included in the construction phases of a power plant or a solution to monitor the industrial facility
  • Experience in one or more of the following: cybersecurity platforms including SIEM, file integrity detection, malware prevention, phishing prevention, vulnerability tools, network access controls and change & configuration management 
  • Strong understanding of critical Project Management concepts such as activity plans, milestones, task dependencies, risk and issue tracking, status reporting. Ability to effectively lead an engagement team, making effective and efficient use of project resources, identifying and resolving complex problems/issues related to people, processes, and technology and strategy, both internally (organizational) and externally (client/engagement/project). 
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Project or other Project Management software and ability to present effective dashboard and manipulate strategic data 
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred
  • Up to 10% of travel
  • Valid and current driver’s license operable in all 50 states and Canada 
  • Experience with managing a team, effective leadership, delegation abilities and mentoring 
  • Demonstrated aptitude to be proactive and process improvement oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a member of a geographically dispersed team on assigned projects and effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines
  • Superior organizational skills with and an orientation to detail to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Ability to independently prioritize, manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines without supervision
  • Desirable: 
    • Prior experience working in the energy/utility, renewable energy industry
    • Experience with AWS/Azure services, containerization and cloud security  
What You've Accomplished:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science. Masters preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in digital networking, computing, or telecommunications
