This Notice is provided as a result of the filing of applications for permanent alien labor certification for the positions noted below. Rate of Pay: $95,763.00 per Year
Duties: Design wind farm collector systems and prepare and develop site specifications. Supervise the inspection, diagnosis, adjustment, or repairs to wind turbines as well as perform maintenance on wind turbine equipment. Resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Design, develop, test, and supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for wind turbines. Expected to complete reports and records associated with maintenance and repairs along with completing Lock-Out-Tag Out (LOTO), JSA's and job-appropriate processes and procedures. Act as the safety mentor for junior technicians, providing training in tasked-based certifications, intervening when unsafe acts are being practiced, and identify gaps in safety standards and safety risks in the environment. Position requires 10% domestic (U.S) travel.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Solar Engineering or the foreign equivalent and 12 months of experience in job offered or in a Wind Turbine Service Technician related position. Position also requires 12 months of experience in wind farm operations and maintenance as well as providing onsite technical training and assessment to technicians.
