The Technical Sales team, within Gridspertise is looking for Technical Sales Engineer.

What you will do:

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for all activities related to:

  • Project developer on the projects identified with the main responsibility of ensuring the correct conduct of the end-to-end process from the management from the lead to the closure of the contract with the customer, critically elaborating the feasibility study and Business plan of the initiatives, in addition to the technical-commercial proposal by drafting the documentation necessary for the internal approval of the projects;
  • Work with the internal stakeholders necessary to resolve any critical issues or to prepare all the technical documentation;
  • Work closely with KAM (Key Account Managers) to win business opportunities with the customers being responsible of the technical activities and deliverables;
  • Interface with technology suppliers, design studios and external installers for the elaboration of the technical proposal and for the correct start-up of the projects;
  • Responsible of preparing the technical offers for pilots and in some cases for the overall project management of the pilot execution;
  • Manage the technical qualification and offering to tenders, maximizing the value of the Gridspertise solutions.

Who you are:

Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronic, Electric or Telecommunications) with:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the role;
  • Good background of market available solutions for Smart grid or field devices (e.g., drones, smart glasses, home automation, etc,);
  • Good knowledge of technologies available on the market for Smart Grid and Field devices;
  • Good knowledge of Hardware and Software architecture competences on industrial electronic devices;
  • Good knowledge of technical standards and regulations applicable;
  • Good knowledge of applicable laboratory tests for electronic industrial components and manufacturing processes for industrial devices;
  • Good knowledge of main communication protocols for in-field devices (eg. IEC 61850 and/or PLC Protocols etc.):
  • Good knowledge of telecommunication networks operation (GSM, GPRS, 3G, 4G, 5G, TCP/IP, etc.) and of DSO Electricity Grid Operations;
  • Professional knowledge of English. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered as a plus.
