Description and requirements
If you want to shape the future of energy, we are looking for a Project Manager, Operational Excellence to join our Solar and BESS perations and Maintenance team!

Who you will work with
The Project Manager, Operational Excellence, is responsible for the execution of initiatives across the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Solar & BESS organization. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional projects, ensuring effective governance, tracking progress against objectives, managing stakeholders, and delivering measurable operational improvements.

This role will work closely with the rest of the Operational Efficiency team, Technical Services, OMI, and other business functions to ensure initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.


What you will do
  • Coordinate and manage a portfolio of Operational Excellence initiatives across the O&M Solar/BESS team.
  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and risk registers.
  • Establish project governance structures and facilitate regular project review meetings.
  • Track progress of multiple concurrent projects and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor action items and ensure accountability across project teams.
  • Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks to leadership as required.
  • Review and provide input on Scopes of Work (SOWs), including scope, services, deliverables, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and project timelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between O&M, Procurement, Legal, and Contract Management teams throughout the sourcing, contracting, and vendor onboarding processes for initiatives requiring external support.
  • Collaborate in vendor selection activities, including requirements clarification, proposal evaluations, and stakeholder alignment, as required.
  • Proactively monitor sourcing and contracting activities, identifying, tracking, and escalating roadblocks, risks, or delays that may impact project schedules or business objectives.
  • Support contract amendments, change requests, and scope modifications while maintaining appropriate documentation and governance controls.
  • Manage external contractors and service providers throughout project execution, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance, facilitate issue resolution, and ensure timely completion of agreed deliverables.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Engage with the Global team for the implementation of identified best practices across the fleet.
  • Provide regular status updates to management and executive stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive presentations and business updates as required.
  • Measure and report realized benefits, including operational efficiency gains, cost reductions, reliability improvements, and process standardization.

What you will bring
The minimum requirements for this role are:
  • 2+ years of project management experience in industrial operations, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with project governance, KPI development, and executive reporting. 
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and/or other project portfolio management tools.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy operations (Solar & BESS) is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of reliability, maintenance, and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on execution and accountability.
  • Structured, proactive, and improvement‑oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, compliance‑driven environment.
  • Ability to comment on legal documents and agreements.
  • 25% travel required (domestic & international).
