Our portfolio of solutions is anchored by our market-leading virtual power plant (VPP) platform, which trades and optimises the participation of distributed energy resources in Taiwan's power markets in real-time, 24/7/365. Leveraging this VPP platform, we can offer customers a unique perspective on the market, and we can make new opportunities happen for them.

The Role

In this role, you will join a world-class operations team that is working to connect new businesses to our VPP. Reporting to the Head of Operations Taiwan, you will be responsible for day-to-day management of our VPP assets in the energy market, engaging with customers to maximise value to them from their VPP participation and with Taipower to manage successfully market requirements.

What you will do:

• Manage portfolio construction and market bidding strategies
• Execute on bidding and settlement activity with Taipower and customers
• Engage with customers to provide insight on ancillary markets and Enel X’s VPP operations
• Manage registration and compliance for our VPP sites with Taipower
• Provide market analysis and reporting to inform customers and internal teams on VPP performance
• Provide support for internal commercial team, such as quantitative analysis and market research
• Liaise with our software teams to define business requirements for our software tools, and provide business support on rollout, testing and debugging as needed
• Improve our processes to increase efficiency, scalability and enhance controls to ensure quality of output

• Knowledge of electricity networks and markets
• Proven aptitude for decision-making and problem solving
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills in both Mandarin and English
• Advanced analytics capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Python, R , Tableau, SQL or other applicable formats.
• Project management skills including ability to multitask, prioritise, set and meet deadlines, work independently, and perform tasks with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as Engineering, Science, Economics, Data Science or Mathematics
