If you want to shape the future of energy, we are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Administration team! 

What you will do 
  • To manage the relevant accounting activities including the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing (as well as payment flow management where necessary) providing to the book-keeping provider instructions ensuring the compliance with the Local and Enel Group policies and procedures aimed at protecting the value of assets
  • To manage the subsidiaries’, separate financial statements, interim financial reports and consolidation forms preparation in accordance with the German GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and administrative guidelines
  • To support the audit firm and the internal/external control bodies, where needed
  • To assess the administrative impact of new rules and regulations  
  • To support internal functions/units (Tax, P&C, M&A, Finance, BD department etc.) for all administrative aspects and extraordinary operations as well as for funding and financial operations
What you will bring 
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • 5–6 years of experience in an accounting or finance department, with responsibility for accounting activities and the preparation of financial statements 
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm 
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS accounting standards 
  • Experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP and ERP systems 
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German 
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and transparency 
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
