About Digital Solutions:

Digital Solutions is a highly strategic and crucial department for our product-focused company.

It was initiated with the aim of providing a modern and innovative suite of software & data solutions aligned with the Company portfolio strategy and with internal operational needs.

A lot goes through here: following the Gridspertise strategy and prioritization, Digital Solutions is in charge the entire design and execution of the Software solutions roadmap!

What you will do:

As IOT Architect in the Digital Solutions field, you will be responsible for all activities related to:

  • Spearhead development of the IoT vision and technical strategy: work with key business and IT leaders to develop an IoT vision
  • Design an end-to-end IoT architecture: identify and document the IoT target state for the organization and ensure that the target architecture will address current and future business requirements.
  • Enable the design and construction of IoT solutions: The IoT architect collaborates with and enables solution architects in their design and implementation of IoT solutions.
  • Create a process to build IoT solutions Developing and standardizing the process for building IoT solutions and then guiding the evolution and improvement of that process is key.
  • Collaborate with diverse enterprise groups to deliver value The IoT architect needs to engage effectively with teams across the organization to develop clear business objectives for IoT solutions and to ensure they integrate well with existing operations.

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Solution Architect and/or Principal Engineer in IOT projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of onboarding and provisioning of IoT devices; ensures seamless integration and interoperability between different components of the IoT ecosystem.
  • Experience in designing edge IoT solutions that process data closer to the source (at the edge) rather than relying solely on cloud services, with focus in optimizing IoT workflows for low-latency and real-time processing, using moder programming language (Rust and GoLang)
  • Knowledge of IoT platform and protocol: IOT Managed services (aws, azure), Digital Twin, K8s, k3s, FDO, IOT Broker, MQTT, DDS and others
  • Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
