The Opportunity: 
The analyst will be responsible for supporting the renewable assets desk, with a focus on optimizing ISO revenue, in collaboration with O&M, for wind and solar assets. 

What You'll Do at Enel North America: 
  • Research and modelling of electricity market supply, demand and grid congestion fundamentals for daily trading and assets optimization 
  • Working with the short-term trading group to create and analyze bidding strategies across all ISO markets for wind and solar assets 
  • Perform scheduling tasks including trade/bilateral transactions, tagging and transmission procurement 
  • Tracking and analyzing electricity markets, and communicating effectively regarding market conditions 
  • Tracking and analyzing revenue stack for wind and solar assets 
  • Collaborate with O&M, CMR on plant availability and outage scheduling 
  • Data mining and analysis to identify optimization opportunities 
  • Support the definitions of the strategies and the participation to Capacity markets for REN Assets 
  • Work as a member of the ECM team to manage assets optimizations goals 

Who You Are: 
  • Team-oriented and collaborative 
  • Must be effective working in a fast-paced team environment, and able to see projects through to completion 
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a group 
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required 
  • Demonstrates creativity, and independent thought when solving problems 
  • Good understanding of business processes and data management 
  • Knowledge of US Electricity markets and power systems – experience with one or more ISO markets preferred.  
  • Proficiency with Excel, databases (SQL) and/or programming languages such as Python 
  • Knowledge of power plant operations and management preferred 

What You've Accomplished: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative discipline 
  • 3+ years experience in energy markets 
  • preferred experience in managing power generation assets in ISO markets (including scheduling activities)

The pay range for this position is $105,500.00 to $158,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will be based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, work experience, education, and internal equity.
