What you will do:

The Commercial Operations Specialist provides key support to the Sales team and other cross-functional support teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in our commercial efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for day to day support of sales and operational administration duties for the in-country team and supporting across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales with active management of standard operating procedures, including managing sales support requests and supporting sales in managing their pipeline
  • Process and edit commercial contracts in line with standard operating procedures
  • With management support, develop sales processes and tools that enable effective sales processes management and efficient use of sales team members’ time
  • Coordinate the flow of data and documentation amongst internal teams
  • Manage Salesforce.com data and ensure data is up to date by processing accurate records
  • Report on sales and marketing performance utilising Salesforce.com data and Excel analysis
  • Ensure all correspondence, reports and presentation materials are in compliance with company standards
  • Liaise with Utility Data Providers for access and sharing of Energy Data

In order to succeed in this role, you need to possess most of the following attributes:
  • An intellectually curious mind. We are in a fast-paced industry, so we want someone unafraid of the unknown and who thrives on learning new things
  • Experience in a similar role supporting a commercial sales team
  • Experience managing projects that build functionality in Salesforce.com or other CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly related to liaising with customers
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task across a broad set of deadline-oriented tasks autonomously
  • Strong quantitative aptitude
  • Ability to analyse and collect data for various types of reports
  • Bachelor degree or Business Administration certification
