Job Position and Business line: AFC - Planning & Control Specialist

Type of Contract: Full Time

Place of employment: Gurgaon, India

The Role: Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process. Analyzing the actuals against budget/forecast and prior year. Supporting decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility into business performance.

Who you'll work with: The individual will join us in the AFC P&C team, who will be responsible for supporting the development of organizations, the annual operating plan, and the maintenance of various forecasts (monthly/quarterly/annual).

What you will do: 

•Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development of organizations, annual operating plans, and maintenance of various forecasts (monthly/quarterly/annual).

•Reporting and analyzing works closely with the management team to develop and maintain periodic reporting to compare the actuals to the plan and forecast with associated variance analysis.

•Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, production, etc.

•Drive process improvements and projects as identified.

•Ensuring timely reporting of all MIS as per requirement.

•Data report automation.

•Good understanding of local (IGAAP) and internationally accepted accounting principles (IFRS).

•PL preparation, analysis, and MIS reports of various types related to margins, OpEx, EBITDA, and balance sheet.

•Preparation of budgets, forecasting, business plans, and preparing various analytical reports.

•Service Revenue: analysis, reports, coordination with various sets of people, preparation of service agreements.

•Forming part of any project as and when required, assisting during various audit assignments.

•Communication with overseas planning and controlling, finance colleagues, and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

•CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) degree.

•Proficiency in MS Office.

•4-5 years of working experience in any good corporation/MNC. 

•Good Knowledge of SAP (preferably FICO module). Problem-solving and approaching problems through lateral thinking

•Ability to work with numerous departments in a matrix, global structure. 

•Ability to work in a group and autonomously.  

•Self-motivated, flexible, and demonstrates initiative.

•Excellent teamwork and communication skills 

•Ability to work in time-constrained situations and follow tight deadlines.

•Availability to travel locally and internationally when required. 

•Advanced proficiency with the MS Office suite.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
