The Role: As a Planning & Control Specialist within the AFC team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. You’ll analyze actuals against forecasts and prior year performance, delivering actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Who you’ll work with: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, providing timely, detailed and meaningful visibility into business performance. Also engage with overseas finance colleagues and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
What you will do:
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Support the development of annual operating plans and maintain rolling forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and maintain periodic reports comparing actuals to plan and forecast, including variance analysis.
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) across revenue, cost of sales, production, and more.
- Financial Planning & MIS:
- Prepare P&L statements, margin analysis, Opex, EBITDA, and balance sheet reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting and automate data reports where feasible.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Apply sound knowledge of IGAAP and IFRS in financial reporting and analysis.
- Project & Audit Support:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and assist during internal and external audits.
- Service Revenue Management:
- Analyze service revenue, coordinate with stakeholders, and prepare service agreements.
What you’ll Bring:
- Professional qualification: CA, CMA or MBA (Finance).
- 5–8 years of experience in financial planning and control, preferably in MNCs or large corporates.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and SAP (FICO module).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global matrix structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, initiative and a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
