The Opportunity:
This position will work in a fast-paced environment to manage a team responsible for coordinating and managing real estate transactions necessary for project development, and all related tasks, including, but not limited to, producing real property agreements, ensuring compliance with real property agreements procuring title searches and title insurance, performing title curative and due diligence involved in acquiring, selling and financing real property assets, all associated with renewable energy. This position will be responsible for managing a team responsible for managing real property needs for all phases of project development.

 What You'll Do at Enel North America:
 Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:
  • Managing real estate transactions necessary for project development, and all related tasks
  • Participate on designated project teams and provide appropriate support, guidance, feedback, and resources commensurate with project status and strategy.
  • Create and or maintain business relationships with title companies, surveyors, and government entities
  • Research government (land) records and online databases to determine land interests
  • Review and interpret legal descriptions
  • Work closely with GIS Department in the creation of various project maps
  • Review data submitted by development managers and real estate and title specialists
  • Review/oversee review of trust, probate, and entity documents to determine execution authority
  • Coordinate the drafting, review and execution of contracts and related documents, ensuring all contracts meet company and project requirements
  • Input/oversee inputting data into agreement management system to monitor and record pertinent agreements and obligations
  • Assist remote field agents with data and contract needs
  • Support development managers with management of project real property acquisitions
  • Identify, assist with, and manage required title curative and encroachment resolution
  • Assist with real estate documents and reporting requirements during closing of a sale, purchase, or financing of a project
  • Provide leadership of a team of specialists completing the above responsibilities for specific Projects
  • Review title reports and supporting documents for property ownership and any encumbrances

Who You Are:
  • Map reading skills, including but not limited to, understanding legal descriptions and other real property descriptions and depictions, and proficiency in GIS systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines;
  • Superior organizational skills and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality;
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, create action plans to meet specific project needs, and changes in project schedules and circumstances;
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Up to 20% of domestic travel and 5% of international travel.

What You've Accomplished:
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; JD preferred
  • Candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of contract preparation and compliance, title examinations, and real estate rules and customs.
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team responsible for managing real estate transactions and real property assets as necessary for project development;
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Tool, including but not limited to: Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint;
