The Opportunity:
Enel Green Power Operations & Maintenance has a need for a Senior Data Analyst to join our OMI group (Operations & Maintenance Improvement). The role directly supports the data management, analytics, and integrations within core business systems for GPG North America. The main responsibility of this position is to provide support and expertise to strategically improve and maintain operational data, while further expanding the data capabilities of our current application stack and researching integrations with emerging technologies that we adopt.
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will demonstrate responsibility, innovation, proactivity, and a willingness to lead projects when necessary. The ideal applicant possesses great communication skills as they will be interfacing with different groups to understand business needs and implement solutions to current and upcoming data challenges. You will be the main support in troubleshooting and resolving data issues between core systems, supporting development and implementation of new data connections, and documentation of said processes. A secondary component of the role will be to identify, plan, and implement new areas for data automation. Your core responsibilities will require you to find ways to capitalize on existing data streams to increase accessibility and business value, while collaborating and supporting both local and global groups with new initiatives. You will also be responsible for creating documentation to support created processes, as well as be a resource for any future data integrations and investments the team should be making to keep in line with and move toward the company mission and vision.

What You'll Do at Enel North America:
Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:
  • Configuration and maintenance of data systems with a heavy focus on the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI platform.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of ETL processes within data tools, including but not limited to Python, Apache Airflow, SAS, and SQL (MS SQL & PSQL).
  • Development of data processes and analytics to support O&M needs.
  • Interface with other groups to understand current data needs and challenges
  • Identify opportunities for improvement with data processing and automation task and tools

Who You Are:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong motivation and a drive to learn.

What You've Accomplished:
Must have:
  • Bachelor's (Master's is a plus) from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, data science or computer science).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working with databases, administrative or end user.
  • Experience in PI Suite and/or other real-time data systems.
  • Experience in developing or administering AVEVA/OSIsoft PI platform, PI Asset Framework, and PI Web API, preferably within the power/utility industry.
  • Strong experience with data analytics and data management.

Preferred:
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as SAS Viya, Tableau or Power BI
  • Intermediate knowledge of coding languages, preferably python or java.
