Descrição e Requisitos

What you will do:

• Ensure that Water Use Licences and Conditions of each Power Plant are observed and complied with

• Conduct internal audits on Water Use License and Conditions

• Co-ordinate external audits on Water Use License and Conditions,

• Submit all Water Use License audit reports , yearly

• Investigate any environmental incidents that occurs

• Input Environmental data for the Annual Environmental Performance report (quarterly)

• Ensure that the Biodiversity programmes are on track

• Yearly review of Environmental aspects and impacts of each Power Plant

• Interface with officials from Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) / Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS), Birdlife SA and other stakeholders

• the Environmental Authorisation & Environmental Management Programme

• Identify and co-ordinate any training that is required on Environment

• Implement any Environmental programs as determined/required by the Business

• Ensure that waste is managed responsibily and documented accordingly , monthly

• Ensure that Waste register is maintained at all times

• Plan and co-ordinate Environmetal emergency drills according to procedure

• Liase with O&M power plants on Environmental requirements and obligations

• Undertake all Corporate Environmental reporting that is required from time to time

Who you are:

• Safety Management diploma /SAMTRAC / NEBOSH

• Incident Investigation training

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)/ RCAT

• ISO 14001 knowledge

• Experience in the Environmental requirement in relation to Wind Farms

• Experience in auditing

• Conversant with National Environmental Management Acts (NEMA)

• Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA)

• Computer skills

• Good communication and writing skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with various stakeholders within the company.

• Strong planning, organising and control skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work with minimum direction and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

• A self-starter who takes a proactive approach and has good decision making skills.
