The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst for Enel Trading North America LLC’s (ETNA) proprietary trading activities in power and natural gas markets, and commodity derivative hedging strategies. The Senior Compliance Analyst shall identify, investigate, and resolve potential compliance risks concerning CFTC, ISO, FERC, and all other state and federal regulations. Other duties include handling ad-hoc compliance requests and conducting risk assessments. 

What You'll Do at Enel North America:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including CFTC Dodd-Frank, U.S. exchange requirements, FERC Anti-Manipulation rules, and ISO market regulations
  • Track and coordinate market abuse and other regulatory training programs for ETNA staff
  • Prepare and submit timely regulatory filings and internal compliance reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promptly address ad hoc compliance requests, inquiries, and data needs
  • Maintain proper recordkeeping for all generation and trading activities
  • Coordinate and ensure adherence to internal compliance policies
  • Assist in updating and enhancing the compliance program to address regulatory or business changes
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated compliance tools while identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Draft desk procedures and documentation as required
  • Security administrator for all digital certificates for all ECM staff as well as EGP CRM operators
  • Training coordinator for all ECM staff for annual training compliance requirements
  • Assist with identifying regulatory requirements for new business/new products and with ad hoc transaction related questions
  • Assist in developing and delivering compliance training to ETNA staff and management as needed 

Who You Are:
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review large data sets and compile information to demonstrate compliance and provide regulatory guidance for trading activities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while working in an international, cross-functional team environment. Collaborate as needed with Front Office, Back Office, Middle Office, and Global Compliance teams based in Rome
  • Knowledge of programming tools (VBA, SQL, Python) and data visualization dashboards (Spotfire) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel as needed 

What You've Accomplished:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with a focus of ISO rules for power markets and renewable generation resources

What Enel North America Offers You: 
The pay range for this position is $86,600.00 to $129,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will be based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, work experience, education, and internal equity.
